United States of America (Press Release) August 24, 2007 --
Fiction writer Vienne Stefani needed a way to store overheard conversations she uses to stimulate her creativity and character development. She started a simple blog called, "Eavesdrop Writer" (www.eavesdropwriter.blogspot.com) with the tag line, "Shhh...A Writer's Inspirations from Eavesdropping" in July.
The response has been unexpected. Hundreds have read "Eavesdrop" and many comment on the author's detailed observations and story telling skills. The blog, under two months old, has held the top neighborhood slot at Blog Catalog, a registry of over 20,000 blogs, for two weeks now.
Vienne's posts are light-hearted, like two young men's experience at a local hookah bar, as well as emotional. An entry about a homeless woman filling up her van with $6.00 of gas while quietly crying generated the most comments from readers.
Many have commented on the blog's characteristic 'window on the world' perspective and how it delivers glimpses into all walks of life with brief, but beautifully written, posts.
Visit Eavesdrop Writer and see what the fuss is about. Like the author states in her profile, "Maybe you'll be inspired by something I've heard".
