This service is not offered because we think we are a step-up or a step down. We are simply different from you. I am an art dealer.
We come from all walks of life. If you're looking for a conversation about investing, someone can pick up what you're laying down (I had a 1,300% year in the late 90s). Bernanke, Greenspan, the Fed, the housing market, internet technologies, technological singularity, psychology, neuroscience... someone can hold up a conversation with you. If you're into politics, most are not scared to get into the muck with you. Books: most of us are pretty well read. Movies: If you're into crappy, over-popularized, crappy stuff -- some here are into that too, but don't tell them that I think their opinions suck ass. If you're a bit more eclectic, you'll probably fit in also... the last movie I watched was that bartolucci flick -- "the dreamers". Music: Everyone is all over the board. You'll find musical interests from every genre in my group of friends. I come from a Jazz background, but flow well into all realms of music. I used to be one of those annoying "I've heard of him/her first" geeks, having seen guys like John Mayer or Howie Day in 200-seat venues, and enjoyed Outkast before it was cool to do so.
