ICC OFFERS AID TO HAWAII BUSINESS COLLEGE STUDENTS

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 28, 2007 -- Intercultural Communications College is offering free tuition to Hawaii Business College students who would like to enroll in COMM 105 - Public Speaking, a three-credit university course accredited through Upper Iowa University, but given at ICC, near the Ala Moana shopping center.

ICC is also offering Hawaii Business College’s international students reduced rates on a full range of English as a Second Language programs, including the English for Business and TOEFL test preparation programs. In addition, ICC is offering free counseling to F-1 visa international students on how to maintain their student status within the U.S. Immigration regulations.

“Our hope is that this effort will provide some relief to those students who have been affected by this sudden closing and give them the opportunity to continue their education without interruption,” said ICC Director Joel Weaver. “Our international ICC community will extend a warm welcome to them.”

Intercultural Communications College has been offering the best in English language education since 1991. ICC is accredited by The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) and is a member of the American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP). ICC is an official testing site for the TOEIC, TOEFL-iBT, CLEP, DSST and Cambridge FCE/CAE examinations. ICC is authorized by Cambridge ESOL to offer the CELTA teacher-training program, the only such center in Hawaii, and one of only 10 such training centers in the United States. ICC’s university classes are accredited through Upper Iowa University, a recognized innovator in the delivery of accredited, quality education in Fayette, Iowa.
