China Finance Centre Ups SAQ Rating of China Life Insurance Company (NYSE:LFC) to 6.8

China Life Insurance Company, founded in 1949, provides annuity products and life insurance to individuals and groups in China. The company has announced its first-half earnings jumped 160 percent on surging investment income and premium growth. China Life's gross investment yield in the first half rose sharply to 5.19 percent from 3.29 percent a year earlier. The company also has said non-insurance businesses such as banking, fund management and securities will be increasingly important over the next few years.
