Worcester, Mass. – A new indoor tanning salon is scheduled to open Sept. 1 with a grand opening celebration on Sept. 8.

Solar Flair Tanning Salon, located at 70 James St., Suite 202 in Worcester, will exclusively feature the Velocity HP1000, SS755, SS756V and Sunvision 30 tanning beds manufactured by ETS Tan, based in Indianapolis.
“We had a desire to open our own business and do it differently,” said Michael Chalifoux, who with wife Jean opened Solar Flair Tanning Salon because they felt there was a need in the area for a salon with the best equipment and a highly-trained staff.
Chalifoux said he and his wife chose to exclusively offer ETS Tan tanning beds to their customers due to the high quality of the beds and because of the exceptional customer service.
The salon will be operated using software designed by Helios LLC, a sister company to ETS Tan that is a leader in providing tanning salon management and customer data software.
Solar Flair Tanning Salon has a convenient location, Smart Tan-certified staff and a tropical-themed décor complete with tikki huts, surfboards and life-sized animals. “We offer an environment for all your senses,” Chalifoux said.
The salon is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
