Up-And-Coming D.C. Gospel Artist Terrell Hunt Releases Debut And Readies For Upcoming Performances

Independent Record Label, RICHESCAPE MUSIC celebrated the summer of 2007 with newly-signed artist, Minister Terrell Hunt on his debut CD release on Tuesday, July 24, 2007. A uniquely gifted and anointed vocalist, songwriter and record industry trailblazer who is redefining the contemporary worshiper’s role, Hunt is already receiving rave reviews from the gospel industry including notable recording artists such as Vickie Winans and Jonathan Nelson. Washington, D.C.-based artist is bringing worshipers to their knees and praisers to their feet with a collection of 15 stunning tracks offered directly to God.
Opening the musical collage of memorable music is the high-energy anthem, “Worship The Lord”. “Worship The Lord” flows seamlessly into the beautifully-penned, lead single, “This Is The Day”. Another Terrell Hunt jewel, this one quickly catches the ear with its moving lyrics and complementary orchestral stylings. Hunt has an uncanny ability to pull you into worship and praise with him. This fact is no clearer than on the title track, “Awesome”. Bringing the listener into the very throne room of God, the tune builds with classical yet contemporary melodies.
Not a novice to the music industry, Hunt has ministered to audiences across the country with some of the finest in gospel music including Vickie Winans, Karen Clark-Sheard, Daryl Coley, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, CeCe Winans, BeBe Winans, Marvin Sapp, Vanessa Williams, Beverly Crawford, Tramaine Hawkins, and the list goes on.
Once only imagined as a Spirit-filled dream, now Terrell’s vision of a long-awaited first solo recording project, “Awesome” released under the RichEscape Music label is now complete. Executive producer and co-producer Terrence Richburg declares that “This “Awesome” journey has involved a posture of prayer and many hours, a lot of effort, hard work, sacrifice, pain and tears by and from a lot of people, but when you listen to what God has created with His own hand it has all been worth it without any regrets. God deserves all the glory from everyone from start to finish.” Terrell proclaims, “It’s important for me to live daily in the presence of God. My relationship with my creator is the lifeline of my ministry and career. Fads fade, but lifestyle and relationship are eternal.”
Hunt recently completed taping his national television debut during the 2007 season of Bobby Jones Gospel performing his acclaimed single, "This Is the Day." Slated to air in the fall, Hunt received a great response from the audience during the taping of the up-tempo praise tune. He was also recently chosen as one of the seven finalists for the New Artist Showcase of the True Worship Retreat to be held in Newark, NJ on September 8th. Fast becoming one of the most popular worship conferences, guests include Richard Smallwood, Byron Cage, Hezekiah Walker, Kim Burrell, Donald Lawrence and many others.
