Make a Fresh Start, a six-week workshop tailor made for those who have been affected by divorce or a difficult relationship, begins Sat. Sept.22nd at the Oak Park Library in Oak Park, Michigan.

United States of America (Press Release) August 31, 2007 -- (Detroit, MI-- August 31, 2007) The Make a Fresh Start workshop presented by Divorce Recovery Today, Inc. teaches individuals how to recover after a divorce. The workshop starts on Saturday, September 22nd from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Oak Park Public Library in Oak Park, Michigan for six consecutive Saturdays.

Make a Fresh Start focuses on many emotional stages a person goes through such as denial, anger, loneliness, depression, acceptance and forgiveness. Participants are expected to learn strategies to progress through the stages and move on pass their pain to total healing.

LaShon F. Williams, founder of Divorce Recovery Today, Inc. and author of Moving On! Living Life to the Fullest After Divorce, facilitates the weekly sessions. According to Ms. Williams, “Divorce recovery is the necessary transition process one goes through after divorce or difficult relationship. Each stage is vital, normal and necessary in helping people find a new lease on life.”

Ms. Williams says divorce recovery is not limited for just the recently divorced or those who have been divorced for many years. “Divorce recovery is for everyone who has ever been affected by divorce. Not only mothers, fathers and children, but in-laws, friends, neighbors, co-workers, employers, employees, the list can go on and on,” said Ms. Williams.
