Germany (Press Release) September 3, 2007 --
Berlin, Germany – Monday 3rd September 2007 - TELES, the German VoIP and NGN telecoms solutions provider, has announced that it will be attending this year’s GITEX/GULFCOMMS event (8th to 12th September, Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre) for the first time as part of the company’s ongoing business expansion in the Middle East.
The company, best known in the region for its complete carrier-grade NGN turnkey solution offering, will be promoting its IMS-based NGN solution at this year’s event. According to TELES, the NGN solution is built using state-of-the-art components, with a focus on large scale and high performance networks which offer carriers and service providers the opportunity to benefit from a wide range of revenue generating applications as well as the well-known advantages of packet-based networks.
TELES has already carried out a number of high profile global NGN implementations in 2007, the most notable of these being the freenet NGN migration project in Germany - one of the largest projects of its kind carried out in Europe to date.

Announcing the Middle East MGC launch, TELES Middle East Regional Sales Manager Frank Koyro said: “The phenomenal rate of ICT spending in the Middle East and North Africa is set to continue in line with the high demand for world class network solutions. That’s why we’re delighted to attend GITEX/GULFCOMMS to make our MGC-based NGN solution available to carriers across the wider Middle East and Asia Pacific regions for the first time.”
