Accessories Designer and FIT Grad, Terina McKinney, Opens Her Studio Doors to Fashion Novices

Willingboro, NJ (September 5, 2007) – Interested in learning how to make the clothes and accessories of your dreams a reality? Well…you’re in luck! Terina McKinney, the creative and driving force behind Jypsea~Eclectic Hand crafted Leathergoods, is opening her home studio to those who aspire to design – for themselves or for the masses. A proud alumnus of NYC’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Terina is the founder of an accessories line that produces some of the most unique and affordable handbags, earrings and belts. Boasting a resume as fabulous and diverse as her personality, Terina has experience that includes holding down such titles as Technical Designer, Color Coordinator and Patternmaker.

Although Terina’s signature designs fall into the accessories category, she is no novice to the construction of apparel and home décor. Anxious to share her knowledge and love for design - along with her quaint home studio in Willingboro, NJ – Terina is most interested in teaching individuals skills the skills in which they can build upon.

Classes are project based and will include:

 "Make your own Totebag" for $50
 "Make your own Skirt" for $150
 "Make your first Sundress" for $175

 "Make your own Throw Pillows" for $50
 "Make your own Bikini" for $75

In addition to being taught the craft of sewing and patternmaking, students will also take away decorative techniques such as appliqué, pleating and simple quilting.
