SAN FRANCISCO –CA – September 11, 2007 – The African Network (TAN), a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering, enabling the growth of entrepreneurship and technological innovation through networking, education and mentoring, today announced that registration for its annual conference TANCon 2007 has started. The conference will be held on Saturday, October 13th 2007 at the Four Seasons hotel located at Palo Alto, CA, USA.
“TAN endeavors to cultivate an ecosystem that empowers the entrepreneur and showcases Africa's potential as a major emerging market so we are very excited about the impact of TAN and TANCon 2007 on Africa’s growth potential both in technology and entrepreneurship,” stated Kofi Frimpong, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of TAN.
The theme for TANCon2007 is "Roadmap to Entrepreneurship", to provide future and current entrepreneurs the tools needed to establish and develop successful companies. This year’s attendees include seasoned, as well as first-time entrepreneurs, business leaders, venture capitalists and investment bankers interested in learning first-hand how to successfully invest in technology and in Africa.
TANCon will bring an impressive lineup of speakers to its October 13, 2006 annual conference.
