United States of America (Press Release) September 14, 2007 --
BRANDON, FL - SEPTEMBER, 17 2007 – Americans are seeing a decreasing amount of balance and free time in their personal lives. According to a Woman’s Day/ AOL Survey, 67% of us would hire a personal assistant over a life coach to help complete our daily tasks. In response to these trends, Melinda Bernt, owner and founder of Four Seasons Concierge LLC has recently graduated from the Triangle Concierge Masters Academy in North Carolina.
According to a National Study of the Changing Workforce done by the Families and Work Institute, more than three out of four married employees have spouses or partners who are also employed outside of the home. Couple those statistics with US Government figures that show that since 1969 family time for a working couple has shrunk an average of 22 hours a week! It is no wonder that as an overly stressed society, we are constantly running out of hours each day before we get close to the bottom of our “to do” list.
As recently as 15 years ago, a Concierge was only found in the most upscale of hotels. Today they are still steady sentinels waiting to serve the needs of weary travelers. But a few pioneers of the industry branched out to offer their services to the corporate world. What began as 50 or so Concierge companies nationwide has now grown to several thousand serving all sectors of time stressed Americans. Concierge, Errand Services and Life Management companies help their clients manage the day to day, mundane, time consuming tasks that once delegated, give the customers the time to focus on the things in their lives that only they can do. Grocery shopping, and other errands along with arranging transportation services, travel, event tickets, holiday shopping, greeting card addressing and mailing, personal chef, housekeeping, mobile notary, corporate concierge, and medical concierge services are just a few of the many responsibilities that can be professionally managed and directed by Melinda at Four Seasons Concierge.
Calling on the experiences gained from a career spanning over 25 years in the service departments of corporate America, Melinda started Four Seasons Concierge to serve the needs of Brandon, Valrico, Lithia, Fish Hawk and Apollo Beach areas of Tampa Bay. The concierge training that Mrs. Bernt received provides a benchmark for professionalism and serves as an ongoing resource for continuing education and mentoring by Katherine Giovanni, an industry leader and author of the book “The Concierge Manual”. Ms Bernt is a member of The International Concierge and Errand Association (www.ICEAWeb.org)which is the non-profit trade organization that is designed to meet the professional needs of its members and which maintains a Commitment to Excellence to which all of its members must aspire. Four Seasons Concierge is also a member of the Brandon Chamber of Commerce.
