Custom Search Engine, Library of Beer, Launched
CASA GRANGE AZ - - Library of Beer (LoB), a custom search engine that offers beer aficionados with a custom-tailored beer search experience was unveiled today by Martin Diano Agency LLC (MDA). Built using Google's core search engine technology, LoB prioritizes search results based on websites and pages that are relevant to beer.
"Unlike other library or directory sites, LoB is not a collection of links posted on a web page", said Martin Diano, LoB's Managing Group Publisher. "Our mission is to connect people to information - no matter how specialized or specific - as quickly as possible. LoB allows users to combine Google's search algorithm to create a customized "beer" experience - thus making access to beer-specific information across the web easier for users".
Leveraging the Power of Users to Affect Quality Control
A major feature of LoB lies in its ability to filter URLs that are irrelevant or bogus and eliminate them from search results. Users, too, are empowered with the ability to suggest URL deletions for the same reasons. Requests for removal from search results are reviewed by MDA to maintain quality control.
In addition to the LoB portal, MDA plans is to make the code for its custom search engine available beer-specific commercial web sites and blog publishers.
MDA, a new media communications firm, publishes Library of Softball, Softball Broadcast Network, Softball Institute, and publishes two demographic-specific blogs: National Forum of Girls' Fastpitch Softball and National Senior Softball Forum.
