Made popular by Hollywood movie stars like Ewan McGregor and his buddy Charley Boorman, there is a growing interest in adventure road trips. McGregor and Boorman’s latest book ‘Long Way Down’, (Sphere Oct 2007) covers a well publicised journey starting from John O'Groats and ending in South Africa. The duo ride a pair of sparkling new BMW motorbikes encountering hardships and surprises along the way.
