Funeral Professionals Online Butterfly Release Course.

The Association for Butterflies is offering a free course, complete with certification for students who pass the course. After completing the course, funeral professionals are comfortable releasing butterflies and excited about adding the option of butterfly releases for their clients.

The course teaches butterfly-safe handling and release;

2. Which species can be released
3. What to do when they arrive

4. What to do if a memorial has been postponed
5. How butterflies are shipped and why
6. Types of releases
7. Weather conditions for a release
8. When not to release butterflies
9. Where to order butterflies

An email discussion list is an option for participants in the course. Through this list, butterfly release professionals answer questions and offer suggestions for different types of events.

The course is designed for participants who work full-time. The material can be read and quizzes answered at any time during the day. Participants are not required to be online at any specific time.

Each day's material ends with a five question quiz. A final exam, consisting of up to 30 questions, walks participants through a release, from ordering butterflies to the actual release.

The course is scheduled for the fourth week of October, November, January, and February.
