RALEIGH, NC – Horizon Forest Products (HFP), a top distributor of products for hardwood flooring contractors and custom cabinetmakers in the southeast, has announced its transition into their new 101,640 square foot building. The facility is located at 4115 Commodity Parkway in Raleigh and was built in conjunction with Duke Realty Corporation.
Horizon Forest Products Vice President, David Williams, explains that this new building allows his company to consolidate operations into one building, allowing for greater customer service. “When you can bring remote departments together into one space, you’re going to make communicating across departments more efficient and effective,” explains Williams. “Although we live in a digital age, nothing really compares to face-to-face communication. We’re pleased to finally have everyone under one roof now.”
Williams also says that the company has seen tremendous growth in their business over the past five years and the bigger building will allow Horizon Forest Products to accommodate their continued growth and expanding product line.
“Horizon Forest Products is making a bold statement to our customers and suppliers in the Carolinas with this move,” adds Williams. “We want to continue to offer the best hardwood products for all of our customers and this new facility will allow us to do this for years to come. The increased space will allow us to carry a greater selection of hardwood flooring, hardwood lumber, and plywood for all of our flooring customers and cabinet makers.”
