United States of America (Press Release) September 26, 2007 --
Vancouver, WA September 26, 2007 – Saturday October 6th will be a special day for Evergreen Habitat for Humanity, the non-profit’s local chapter. A home for sale in the Carter Park neighborhood will be the site of an open house and benefit event. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour a remodeled 1926 bungalow and purchase refreshments and raffle tickets. All proceeds from the sales will be donated directly to EHFH. Raffle prizes have been generously donated by local businesses.
“I wanted a way to give back to the community that has given me so much,” says Jamie Carroll, the Keller Williams real estate agent co-hosting the event. The timing couldn’t be better as Evergreen Habitat for Humanity is beginning work on seven new homes in the Orchards area. Their work gives the pride of homeownership to people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to purchase their own home.
The home at 600 W. 29th Street will be open to the public on Saturday October 6th from noon to 4 PM. There is no cost for admission but donations will be graciously accepted. More information can be found at www.MyRealtorIsJamie.com.
