Members of the European Parliament Condemn General Pervez Musharraf's act of Dictatorship

Members of the European Parliament in a letter to the Secretary General of Commonwealth and Secretary General of the United Nations condemned the
recent arrest and bundling off the former Prime of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif.
In the letter they questioned the intentions of General Pervez
Musharraf of being democratic and of pretending to be a frontline ally on
the war on terror. They also mentioned the latest attempts of Taliban and
Al-Qaeda in Germany.
The MEPs called upon both the leaders to immediately call His Excellency Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan and engage in legitimate democratic
political activity in Pakistan.
