During her seven-city tour, Beth will be traveling via motorcycle. She says, “My BMW F650 gets twice the gas mileage that my car does and I wanted to do my part in cutting down on global warming.” In addition, she will be staying with fellow travelers that she meets through Couchsurfing.com and GlobalFreeloaders.com. These websites connect travelers with potential hosts who offer a couch, floor space or spare bedroom for a night or more. “It’s the perfect way to meet people while you’re on the road,” she adds.
