United States of America (Press Release) October 3, 2007 --
CHANDLER, ARIZONA, October 3, 2007 - SeatChute, Inc, a global provider of airline passenger safety and comfort devices, announces the completion of the much anticipated Engineering phase for its flagship product, the parachute-equipped seat system called SeatChute, which will enable airline passengers to fly safely and worry-free.
The Engineering phase includes detailed Industrial Design Sketches which can be viewed at www.seatchute.com. SeatChute, Inc. has now given the "green light" to IDEA., Inc., a San Francisco based product design firm, to begin the Animation phase which, when completed, will allow the end-user the ability to see full functionality of the SeatChute in 3-D, animated form. "By making use of computer technology, and integrating it with our product, we as a company feel that we will streamline our overall sales and marketing efforts, thus reducing the products time to market", said Founder and Chief Executive Officer Peter Hilsenbeck.
“We have a passion for creating meaningful consumer products through design and innovation, and this is merely the first step that will make SeatChute a global brand in airline passenger safety.” Hilsenbeck continued.
SeatChute, Inc has kept the SeatChute a closely guarded secret for many years, but is now ready to be exposed publicly for the first time with these Industrial Design sketches. These sketches show in detail the brilliance of the SeatChute, and its overall functionality.
“Scores of individuals, both domestically and internationally, have worked long and hard on out flagship product; the world’s first airline passenger parachute equipped seat,” noted Shawn Crane, SeatChute, Inc's Executive Vice President. “We’re thrilled that we are one step closer to delivering Mr. Hilsenbeck’s pioneering innovation to market.”
The new Industrial Designs highlight all of the amazing features of the SeatChute, including the built-in Floatation Device, Emergency Beacon, and Child Safety Harness.
“This is merely the first step in what we see as completely turning the air travel industry on its head and changing the mindset in the way people approach air travel." surmised Hilsenbeck.
As mentioned, 3-D Animation of the SeatChute is the next phase in the design process to be completed; this is slated for completion at the beginning of the next Quarter. SeatChute, Inc. is currently working with some of the most talented animators in order to provide the end-user with brilliant imagery, which will showcase all of the SeatChute's key features, while telling a complete story.
The SeatChute is scheduled to be launched worldwide in January 2008 and will be available for immediate use in Private Aircraft. Industrial Design Sketches, Product configuration and details, and contact information are available from SeatChute, Inc. at www.SeatChute.com.
