Church Hosts Halloween Block Party in North Phoenix

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 4, 2007 -- On Halloween night, Desert Springs Bible Church’s 8 acre campus will be converted into a neighborhood block party. The block party includes: inflatable bounce castles, arcade games, a petting zoo, food, live music and plenty of candy.

Each year, Desert Springs holds a big festival for the community of North Phoenix. Last year the event drew over 500 people. The desire is to bring families together while providing a safe place for celebrations and trick-or-treating.

Desert Springs holds this event free of charge for the people in North Phoenix in hopes of building a stronger community.

Desert Springs Vitals
Planted in 1977 by Bethany Bible Church, Desert Springs has seen the city of phoenix “grow up” around it, and continues to be a light in the community.

Today, Desert Springs has approximately 800 weekly attendants. The church is involved in opportunities to serve the community, such as the Palomino Food Bank and the Rio Vista Center.

Sunday services are held each week at 9:00am and 10:45am.
