HorseGirlTV Explores Virginia's Horse Country for Future Episodes

United States of America (Press Release) October 5, 2007 -- STAFFORD, Va October 5, 2007 Last week HorseGirlTV, a new and innovative production from Oregon, moved it's east coast home base to Stafford, VA, to cover the east coast equine world. Already, HorseGirlTV has been to the Hampton Classic talking with Hillary Dobbs, this year's youngest break out rider on the Grand Prix jumper circuit, and Chris Robbins of Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs®, the Hampton Classic's exclusive upscale caterer. Upcoming features include a day at the International Gold Cup Races in the Plains, VA, a series on Virginia foxhunting, an art piece featuring downtown Washington, DC equine statues and their famous riders, and this weekends shoot in Fredericksburg, VA at the east coasts top Breyer Model Horse Tour Stop, Double L Tack Shop. Previous episodes feature grooming for Anky von Grunsven, an internationally known dressage rider, the life of a modern day cowboy, an inside look at FEI reining and a ride along with Prince William Counties Mounted Police.



HorseGirlTV is dedicated to producing educational, fun, and informative episodes that appeal not only to the equine community, but also to people who simply have an interest in horses. Angelea Kelly, a lifelong equestrian with several decades working with online communities is the shows host and producer working to demystify many of the different realms of the horse world. Focusing her attention on not just one discipline, she encourages horse people of all backgrounds to take a look at what some of their equine lover counterparts are doing.

We have a small Arabian horse breeding facility in Catharpin, Va. (have been breeding Arabians for 20 years and have many Winners at the Class A, Regional and National Levels) We just have several mares here that we breed, we also have a PMU Percheron Mare that we rescued, and two miniature horses. This year one of our mares decided she did not want any part of being a Mother, and wanted nothing to do with her foal. We are feeding him around the clock, he shares a large stall with one of our miniature horse,we call Mini Cooper. This little gelding is teaching our Arab colt, now 7 weeks old social skills. Cooper and Crimson Fire HH (registered name) Ditto (farm name because he is marked just like his Dam) have become quite the inseperable couple.
I just thought this might be an interesting short segment for your show. We have a beautiful farm here in Catharpin and welcome guests at all times.
