Announcing a new web site dedicated to real life frivolous lawsuits. BSLawsuits.com chronicles the best of the worst - and lets you express your feelings about them.
We've all heard the one about the woman who sued McDonald's because she spilled hot coffee on herself, but there are plenty of other gems you may not have heard. Like the man who sued Kraft Foods because they didn't tell him how unhealthy Oreo cookies are. Or the man who sued Michael Jordan because he looks like him. Or the man who sued University of Idaho after he fell out of a third story window while he was mooning his friends. Apparently he felt the University should have warned him that would be dangerous.

Frivolous lawsuits are a real burden to almost everyone - whether they realize it or not. Some examples of the harmful effects and the way we all pay a price include:
- Girl Scouts in the metro Detroit area must sell 36,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies each year just to pay for liability insurance.
