AT ATLANTA’S CAFE 290, OCTOBER 15 Live Band Hudson on Bass Joining Performers

Atlanta, GA— On Monday’s, do not miss the music talent showcase at the legendary Cafe 290. Cafe 290 has been a staple for many artists both in and surrounding the Atlanta community for years. Cafe 290 is located just north of Roswell Road and 290 Hilderbrand Drive in Sandy Springs.
Definitely not your typical open mic in Atlanta, American Idol style brings a variety of new contestants displaying there talents in front of industry professionals. Each week, ten to twelve hand-picked artists are given the opportunity to perform live in front of real judges and audiences. Already, several artists have been signed and ring tone deals been made. Also, $1,000 in cash and prizes are awarded to the season winner.
Judges have included Focus (Dr. Dre's staff producer at AfterMath and CEO of aFam), Teddy Bishop (Grammy-award producer - Aaliyah, Toni Braxton, 112, etc.), Bryan Michael Cox (one of THE hottest songwriters/producers in the country - Usher, Mary J. Blige, Mariah), DJ Smurf (Mr. College Park), the Platinum Brotherss, former NBA star/record label owner Terry Cummings, Six-Nine, Emmanuel Lewis, Tha Producers, Kendall Minter (attorney for Ashanti, Jagged Edge, Kirk Franklin, etc), renowned artist development coach Tammy Allen, William Ashborn, Esquire (Ludacris), Linda Casey and Rodney Simpson of 581 Entertainment (Jagged Edge), Amande Johnson (Capitol Records), Ricardo Spicer (Universal), Marvin Howard (Atlantic Starr Record Pool/consultant), India Graves (Def Jam), Chris Flame (producer - Ying Yang, Yung Joc), Michael Bennett (Usher) and many more.
