Dr Shapira also wrote an editorial in Cranio that discussed the relation between TMJ disorders, Sleep disorders, fibromyalgia, and increased medical costs associated with TMJ/TMD disorders. Dr Shapira is a Diplomate of the Academy of Pain Management, A Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, A Fellow, former international Regent and current Regent at Large of ICCMO the premiere group representing Neuromuscular Dentistry.
