[WACO, TEXAS], October 3, 2007 - Young Chefs Academy® (YCA), the franchise leader in children’s cooking schools, and their collaboration with Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios and Northwest Airlines will announce the winners of the ‘Ratatouille’ sweepstakes drawing this month. The name of the Grand Prize winner of the four day/three night trip will be passed to Northwest Airlines for the final arrangements and notification. The other 75 prize winners will be receiving prizes from a participating Young Chefs Academy of their choice.
Beginning in July of 2007, Young Chefs Academy® partnered with Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios in joining “The Big Cheese Tour” to promote the release of the animated hit, Ratatouille. Samsung, Intel and General Mills were among the other promotional partners who joined the collaborative effort. In addition, YCA held successfully designed ‘Ratatouille’ Open House Parties, promotional product giveaways, special events at all participating locations across the US as well as an online sweepstakes for special prizes.
Among the 76 Sweepstakes prizes: Fifty (50) Third Prize Winners will receive a Young Chefs Academy gift certificate redeemable for $20 towards classes or merchandise of their choice; Twenty (20) Second Prize winners will each receive a Pizza Party Package for up to twenty guests at any participating Young Chefs Academy; Five (5) First Prize winners will each win a one year membership to attend classes at any participating Young Chefs Academy, and; One (1) lucky Grand Prize winner will receive a four day/three night trip for the winner and three guests to any location to which Northwest Airlines flies within the 48 contiguous United States (courtesy of NWA WorldVacations).
