Hot new trend Relaxation Rooms
Businesses add Relaxation rooms and o2 lounges for profit and relaxation
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) October 15, 2007 --
Amidst the frazzles of the work a day world, there’s a new trend beginning to sprout up. They are called “RELAXATION ROOMS” and are popping up in businesses, boardrooms, hotels, spas and tanning salons. An offshoot of the oxygen bar trend, the o2 lounges combine the marvels of mechanical massage with fragrant oxygen sessions synchronized with relaxation music. One company, O2 Planet (www.o2planet.com) offers the equipment in both regular and vending models.
Patte Purcell, O2 Planet explains it like this. “People don’t always have time to take a long break but much can be achieved with a 15 minute relaxation break. The treatment consists of a soothing chair massage synchronized with beautiful music. A refreshing aroma oxygen session is administered during the session. This combination can revitalize even the most stressed or tired individual. We are seeing a lot of businesses in different categories adding the O2 Lounge for customers and staff. It’s a great way to take a 15 minute vacation! There is a new Planet Beach in Arizona that has added this feature, resort hotels including Hodelta, even stand alone businesses that focus on the weary who are looking for a quick break. They are even beginning to show up in mall spaces. Fees range from $15 to $25 per 25 minute session”
She said customers who have traditional oxygen bars have noticed a much bigger draw to the oxygen session combined with a soothing massage over sitting at a traditional oxygen bar. “It’s a no brainer, what would you prefer, sitting at a bar or relaxing in a chair while you enjoy a stimulating massage? Oxygen also aids in breaking up the lactic acid that forms knots in the body, what a great way to give yourself a 15 treat that does so much for you!”
Her partner Stephen Katowitz has set up O2 Lounges in diverse locations including international hotels, spas, and fitness centers. In house relaxation centers in a busy corporate environment are also beginning to be popular. Stephen noted “We’ve seen incredible interest from companies who are seeking wellness solutions for their customers and employees. Reduced stress and happier employees equate into higher productivity. Business is beginning to see the benefits of a 15 minute break to relieve stress and overcome an afternoon slump. Healthy alternatives to coffee and candy show up in the bottom line.”
Both Patte and Stephen are expecting the trend to get bigger as homeowners add these amenities to their homes and home theatres for the holidays. They even have a plan for nightclubs who wish to add a regeneration room for clientele who may have imbibed too much. : We have a package for nightclubs which includes a breathalyzer to aid the customer to avoid drunk driving, or to insure they don’t wake up with a hangover.
