The European Union RoHS directive (which took effect on July 1, 2006) restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment. GIGAVAC’s RoHS fully compliant high voltage relays have a maximum 0.1% concentration by weight in homogeneous materials of lead, hexavalent chromium, mercury, PBB and PBDE; and a 0.01% concentration of cadmium.
