Private and group sessions are designed to strengthen relationships of couples going through tremendous stress and frustration by improving communication skills, optimizing their sexual relationship and reducing stress. Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine will soon be an on-going component.
The retreats will take place in Kaua’i; Hawaii’s smallest and furthermost island.

According to Nellie Foster, one of the founding partners (along with Dr. Kathleen Van Kirk and Dr. Cass Foster), “It is well documented that couples who participate in stress reduction programs have a 50% increased success rate of conception.” And why Kaua’i? “We considered numerous countries and numerous locations in the U.S. The difficulties facing couples dealing with infertility are not limited to one country or one part of a country. Since relaxation is a key ingredient and getting away from one’s day-to-day routine, even if for only a week, is so important, we felt Kaua’i would be the ideal choice. My one regret is we are only able to schedule 12 retreats our first year and we limit each retreat to 6 couples. We are unable to reach many in need of this type of support and that needs to be fixed.”
