In an event held to honor Al Gore’s award of Nobel Peace Prize, Mr. Jim and Soni announced donating 2% of their profits to environmental projects designed to reduce greenhouse emissions

The event was held at Soni Motors spacious headquarters in Prawet district of Bangkok which includes world’s largest showroom of diesel 4x4 vehicles and was attended by “who-is-who” of automotive industry in Thailand and Bangkok city dignitaries. Executives of other divisions of the Soni Group of Companies (http://www.sonimotorsthailand.com/) namely Bloomstar Thailand (http://www.thailand4x4.com/), Yasir Trading (http://www.jimsoni.com/) and Soni Manufacturing Division (http://www.sonimotors.net/) also announced that 2% of their profits will also be earmarked for this noble cause.
Mr. Jim and Mr. Soni congratulated Al Gore on his receipt of Noble Peace Prize and thanked him for bringing this life-and-death issue for our planet to the forelight. Mr. Jim Quraishi commented, “we only have one planet and it is our duty to preserve it for future generations. Even though we are involved with an industry that is considered a culprit in contributing to the problem, we want to be a part of the solution and want to encourage development of automotive products that will reduce emissions and also sponsor automotive after-market industry geared to creating environmental-friendly products.
