Age of Liberty is anything but your typical lock step, politically correct, surrender at any cost, appeasement, cum bah yah, hollywood/entertainment elitist band.
Age of Liberty is a band that is about embracing and supporting the GOOD that America stands for - and delivers!
Our American values and people are compassionate and good, even while we acknowledge that in a free nation there are going to be bad things and bad people that come to the surface. Allowing people to discuss, disagree, and convince others of their views is EXACTLY what America was founded on...terrorizing people who don't agree with you is exactly what Americans rebelled against in 1776. And that problem has become more profound in the World today than ever before.
Age of Liberty is about keeping the Fires of Freedom and Liberty burning in our small way. We are not on the front lines in Iraq or Afghanistan...(we hope to be there on tour) but we feel we can express our support and feelings through our music.
The war on terror is not lost! (In spite of what some of our more embarrassing public figures may say) If we don't want our grandchildren being subjugated and threatened with imprisonment or death for speaking out or showing too much leg, losing is not an option!
Our basic tenet rests in what America is all about - LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS!...FOR ALL PEOPLE. But we know that liberty comes at a price, whether it is here or abroad.

BTW...just to illustrate the kind of thinking we are addressing - our lead singer (Darren) was recently in the studio with a well known international act and played them a track from our forth coming album - "You Will Answer".
When asked if the song was about George Bush, Darren replied, "Hell no! This is about the evil people that are cutting peoples heads off and strapping bombs to children!!"
That sums up Age of Liberty mission pretty well.
