United States of America (Press Release) October 23, 2007 --
(Cherry Valley, IL) – A new positive content internet site, enabling people to receive and share uplifting stories and encouraging messages, has just launched. The web site, Amazinglyblessed.com, provides its subscribers with what it calls “blessing e-mails” - uplifting stories and messages of inspiration delivered several times a week to the site’s subscribers. Subscribers can also submit their own stories and messages for consideration as a blessing e-mail.
The site, described as “absolutely fantastic” by John, a subscriber from the Chicago area, “provides an alternative to all of the negative sites that are flooding the internet” says Tad Hartlaub of Cherry Valley, IL, the founder of the site. “I have 5 daughters at home, including two web surfing teenagers, and I just got tired of all the garbage e-mails and the growing number of negative content web sites, such as those promoting violence, gambling and pornography,” said Hartlaub. “I felt that taking a stand and building a positive content site would be a step forward in countering the negative side of the internet,” he added.
Amazinglyblessed.com, which officially launched in June, offers free subscriptions and has relied primarily on word of mouth to build its subscriber base. “We’ve done some limited web advertising, using avenues such as Google ads, but it seems at times that there is an avalanche of advertising on the web right now, causing those with smaller advertising budgets to get lost. The most effective advertising for the site so far has been subscribers forwarding on the blessing e-mails to others and encouraging them to subscribe,” said Hartlaub.
“What wonderful stories! I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy getting your email -- I look forward to them,” said Tracey, a subscriber from Delaware, in a recent e-mail to the web site.“ It appears we are beginning to make a difference,” said Hartlaub.
