American Glory Sculpture Collection Celebrates Historic Patriotic Icons

Fort Wayne, IN – October 23, 2007 – Contemporary avant-garde designers Tor Duane and Delayne are celebrating the launch of their unique hand-made collection of metal sculptures celebrating exciting periods in American history. The collection includes a steam locomotive, a stylized Civil War cannon and futuristic rocket ship. The gala affair will take place at the Fort Wayne Botanical Conservatory, 1100 S. Calhoun Street, at 6pm to 9pm on Friday, October 26, 2007.

Head designer Tor Duane says, "We created these replicas of nationalistic icons to visually stimulate the memories and glory associated with major progressive movements in American history. The steam locomotive represents America’s bold railroad expansion across the vast lands. The Civil War cannon stands as a symbol of the strife that took place in making America a strong democratic society. The rocket ship blazes towards the heavens in celebration of mankind’s daring reach towards the stars and space exploration." Phoenix, AZ gallery owner Wendy Towne notes, "Tor Duane and Delayne have captured the essence of these colorful American iconic symbols by including the most unique features of the original items. They have combined pain-staking craftsmanship with a terrific sense of scale and proportion to create sculptures which engage the imagination and stir the soul."
