Meditation and Improvement

The world today offers increasingly stressful situations for most of us. Things are almost out of hand as far as the requirements for our time. This makes it increasingly difficult for any of us to operate fully energetic and with the necessary focus, being at work, with family, with friends, or in other social or spiritual situations. Fortunately, there are several things we can do to ease make it easier on us. One thing is meditation. The best thing is that when you have successfully completed a meditation session you feel rested and uplifted. Problems with finances, relationships, other nagging things will have answers. It might not be an instantaneous solution but there will be a solution.

Meditation is like taking a leisure trip, or like having your own hotline to the "Higher Intellect" or a "Higher Intelligence".

I myself have used meditation practice for many years. I can tell you firsthand that regardless of whether we see and believe all the benefits that can follow a session, it is still very difficult to do. We get interrupted externally or by our own thoughts, we forget, we have “more pressing” things to do, and on, and on …

I confess that I look at a lot of self improvement, business, and other such things in search of a perfect “fix my problems for ever” device. I can also tell you that I have wasted not a trivial amount of money with things that don’t work. But I am sold on meditation. If only there were that could teach me to practice more often …
