Is A “Mentor” Really A Mentor…?
Or just someone who wants your money? Be leery of those who promise to help you create income in 1 to 2 weeks! For the average person, this just ain’t going to happen. If your mentor is so convincing that you only see the “win-win” scenario and you don’t even consider the possibility of a loss; step back look at the situation from all angles.
I listened to a mentor who convinced me he could get anyone a return their investment in a week’s time. I was so convinced because I could see some parallels in our lives. He had been close to bankruptcy and had lost a son. I too had experienced this.
Even when I told him I could only do without this investment for 3 to 4 weeks at the most: he assured me I would make it back in a week. Before I joined his program I received constant reassuring calls from my mentor (until the sale was closed). After I joined I always did the calling. Calls before I joined were not rushed, not the same for after I joined.
What happened? I lost my car and could not afford to stay in the program. Am I mad at him? No, he taught me a valuable lesson and I won’t let that incident deter my success.
