Coreland Companies has named industry veteran Laurie Sneve as Chief Financial Officer. Sneve has more than two decades of professional experience.

TUSTIN, CALIF. – Coreland Companies of Tustin, Calif., one of the largest real estate service companies based in California, announced today it has named industry veteran Laurie Sneve as Chief Financial Officer. Sneve has more than two decades of professional experience in accounting and financial reporting and has held several positions as Chief Financial Officer or Controller for well known real estate companies both public and private.
“Laurie will head up our efforts to further enhance our infrastructure and take our business platform to the next level as we continue to grow our business throughout the western United States,” said Coreland Companies’ President and Co-founder Chris Hite. “Coreland Companies is very fortunate to have someone of her caliber join our senior management team.”
As Chief Financial Officer for Coreland, Sneve will oversee all property and corporate finance operations and will be responsible for the company’s financial planning, commercial property financing, IT, human resources and corporate operations.
Prior to joining Coreland, Sneve was the Chief Financial Officer for Argus Realty Investors, LP in San Clemente, Calif. where she improved financial reporting to senior executives, created the company’s operating budget and negotiated terms and pricing of the company’s acquisition line of credit. Previous to Argus Realty, Sneve served as the Vice President, Controller and a member of the executive team at Pan Pacific Retail Properties, Inc. in Vista, Calif., a publicly traded REIT, which grew to $2 billion in assets during her 10-year career at Pan Pacific. Before Pan Pacific, Sneve served as Controller and Director of Accounting for The Hahn Company in San Diego, Calif. and as an Audit Senior for Arthur Andersen and Company in Philadelphia, Penn. and San Diego.
“We currently have eight offices throughout California and plan to add several new offices in the next 24 months including offices outside the state in major markets in the western United States,” Hite added. “We recently opened a new regional office in Salt Lake City, which allows us to better serve our growing base of clients in the state and lays the ground work to further expand throughout the western United States.”
Sneve will replace Kathie Sitton, Coreland’s Senior Vice President Finance, who has chosen to spend more time with her family after 10 years of outstanding service to Coreland and its clients.
Sneve graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (in 1985) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
