PAYCOMMERCE INC. JOINS NETSUITE’S SUITEFLEX DEVELOPER PROGRAM
Leveraging the SuiteFlex Development Platform, PayCommerce Develops Industry Specific Software Application to Meet the Needs of B2B Corporate Disbursement and Remittance Management
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) November 2, 2007 --
SAN MATEO, Calif. and Mill Valley, Calif. – November 1, 2007 – PayCommerce Inc. today announced that it has become a partner of NetSuite’s SuiteFlex Developer Program. PayCommerce has extended NetSuite’s One System Architecture with new capabilities to meet the needs of businesses in the Fortune 10,000 companies across various vertical segments. The NetSuite SuiteFlex development platform allows customers and third-party developers to build new workflows and applications, which can look and operate as if NetSuite’s own developers wrote them.
Because NetSuite holds critical business data of a company – orders, invoices, website transactions, shipping records, time tracking, and payroll data – powerful and business critical applications can readily be built using SuiteFlex.
PayCommerce is a payment platform built from scratch using 21st century technologies and designed for on-demand Web services. PayCommerce allows businesses to make disbursements (payments) in any form, any currency and in any language automating the process and providing SOX compliance and complete electronic processing – including reconciliation. PayCommerce is targeting the back office of enterprise with solutions that tie together the “stove pipe” applications, which are inefficient, replicate work and are cause for needless expense in making disbursements and remittances for business. PayCommerce can readily integrate with existing ERP and legacy systems and with NetSuite.
Thomas M. Cannon, CEO and Co-founder of Pay Commerce Inc., has extensive experience in financial services, payments and software-as-a-service, particularly in services for disbursements and remittances. He launched the first affinity card marketing programs with VISA, AAA and First Virginia Bank. Affinity cards arguably became the juggernaut of co-branding in Ecommerce. Cannon later launched the first prepaid cards with American Express and Disney Studios. Cannon has served as CMO and a senior executive founding officer for First Data, Senior VP of American Express Payment Products worldwide, and was a top field marketing executive for IBM. He was also CEO and founder of GasCard Inc., the nation’s largest fleet fueling electronic network when he took the company public and listed it on NASDAQ in 1988. Pay Commerce’s on-demand, hosted service recently went live after an extensive “ground up” engineering platform effort of more than four years.
