Giveaways highlight event that draws over 800 people in multi-location celebration

RALEIGH, NC – Horizon Forest Products (HFP), a top distributor of products for hardwood flooring contractors and custom cabinetmakers in the southeast, has completed their 10th Open House event, which was held on October 8th in Charleston, SC, October 9th in Wilmington, NC, October 10th in Raleigh, NC, and October 11th in Greensboro, NC.
“Our Customer Appreciation Nights is our way of showing our customers how much their valued and appreciated,” said HFP Vice President, David Williams. “Our entire year culminates with these events that are organized to bring our employees, vendors, and customers together to have a great time and build on current relationships.”
This year’s Customer Appreciation Nights (CAN) featured the award of one SEA-DOO GTI 4-Tec Watercraft at each of HFP’s locations. Mullican Flooring, Clarke, and Dura Seal sponsored the SEA-DOOs. "It is encouraging to see one of our distributors reach out in such a positive way in order to build a stronger relationship with our invaluable customers,” says Mike Knight, Southeastern Regional Sales Manager for Mullican Flooring. “Horizon Forest Products is doing a great thing by honoring these important people who play such a vital role in the health of the hardwood flooring industry. Mullican Flooring appreciates the opportunity to participate in Horizon’s Customer Appreciation Nights.”
CAN winners were chosen at random. The number of entries was determined by the number of product purchases made by a company throughout the year. Horizon Forest Products has provided a giveaway at every one of their 10 CAN events. Last year’s prize was five Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Winners of this year’s prizes were Fantastic Floors (Charleston, SC), Ed Newsome Hardwood Floors (Wilmington, NC), Phil’s Hardwood Floors (Raleigh, NC), Weeks Hardwood Flooring (Greensboro, NC), and Scotts Cabinets (Raleigh, NC). Next year’s prize will be a 2008 Corvette, valued at over $58,000.
Adds Williams, “Our main goal of our Customer Appreciation Nights is to make sure everyone has a good time and that no one leaves either hungry or empty handed. We had plenty of great food available and wonderful door prizes and giveaways. Our motto is ‘We appreciate our customers’ and this event truly reinforces our commitment.”
