The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) recently announced that the $5 bill will be updated. The new bill will be put into circulation in early 2008. As always, Edcomm's Banker's Academy is aware of the changes and is already in the process of updating the necessary courses.
The changes to the $5 bill include more colors and intricate design features, similar to the already released $10, $20 and $50 dollar bills. The $100 bill will be updated after the release of the $5 bill. In addition, the new design will be unveiled digitally, a testament to the government's commitment to enhance currency security through the use of technology.
