World Record Balloon Sculpture to Benefit Charities

United States of America (Press Release) November 14, 2007 -- November 8, 2007, was Guiness World Record Day, and Jason of Higher Hope Entertainment in Goose Creek, SC drove to Cincinnati, Ohio to participate with over 60 professional balloon artist from around the world and celebrate the day by attempting to create the world's largest balloon sculpture!

Steven Jones of Aeration Decorations, based in Cincinnati, leads an international team of balloon designers with the 4th annual BalloonTown USA event. The event was at Cincinnati Mills Mall in the old Media Play building. Artists attended from throughout the United States, Europe and Israel.

Over 150,000 balloons were used to break the existing record set in 2003 by an Italian team of balloon designers. Their sculpture used just over 59,000 balloons, so the Cincinnati effort should have easily surpassed the record.

The event was open to the public. The event was also a charity fund raiser. Proceeds from the project were donated to St. Rita School for the Deaf and the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati.

Higher Hope Entertainment is an entertainment company featuring balloon decorating and design. For the past five years, Jason has been focusing much of his time learning advanced balloon twisting art skills. He has provided entertainment for corporations such as Subway and UPS along with many local birthdays and company events.
