United States of America (Press Release) November 18, 2007 --
The inventor of a new patent pending hybrid solar thermal electric system, Sean Costello, has started selling residential and commercial solar power systems. The company has seven engineers and will design, build, and install solar thermal electric systems on-site for peak power generation to the customer. Working in partnership with the local utilities, energy costs are reduced as the system will provide heat and electricity at a discount to what the customer currently pays with the excess generation sold to the grid during the day. At night the customer can purchase cheaper overnight power so that their net energy costs will go down overall. It's a win-win-win situation. The customer gets reduced energy costs, the system itself improves building efficiency resulting in further direct savings to the customer, the local utility gets more peak power, and the localized grid is more robust from localized and distributed voltage and frequency support. Large systems can also benefit from UPS battery banks and other energy efficiency options built with the system.
