With Hemingway & Gunter merger
MIAMI, Fla. – November 19, 2007 – William R. Hemingway, MAI, and Greg R. Gunter, MAI, merged their appraisal practice -- Hemingway & Gunter Commercial Group, LLC -- into Integra Realty Resources-Miami, and are Co-Managing Directors of Integra – Miami’s office.
Michael Y. Cannon, MAI, SRA, ASA, CRE has been named Executive Director and Mark A. Cannon, ASA, continues as Director for the Residential Division.
Integra Realty Resources - Miami, primarily serving the South Florida region, is one of 57 offices of Integra, which is North America’s largest independently-owned appraisal and counseling firm.
The new Managing Directors bring considerable experience to a growing practice.
Hemingway has more than 22 years of primary commercial appraisal experience, and formerly served as Vice President of American Ventures Realty Investors and Director of Research for its Real Data Information Systems, Inc. Before the merger of Hemingway & Gunter Commercial Group, LLC with Integra – Miami, Hemingway was a senior commercial appraiser with CB Richard Ellis.
His experience, in addition to valuations of all types of commercial properties, includes analysis of properties for acquisition, due diligence, the monitoring of commercial properties acquired for performance and serving on American Ventures Investment and Asset Management committees.
He is a native of Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Virginia, and was Vice President and Regional Manager of the Valuation Division of the Former Crestar Bank, which merged with Sun Trust Bank in 1998. He is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia.
Gunter is a native of Miami and has more than 21 years of experience in real estate valuation and consulting of institutional and non-institutional grade properties for financing, estate, eminent domain and other purposes. In recognition of his local expertise, he was recently appointed a Special Magistrate for the Value Adjustment Board of Miami-Dade County. Gunter was Assistant Vice President of the Valuation and Advisory Services division of CB Richard Ellis, Inc., from 1998 to 2004, before forming a real estate and consulting firm with Hemingway in 2004. He is a graduate of Florida State University.
