New Albany, MS—November 20, 2007 – The New Albany Stockyards has been bought by Professional Auction Services LLC. The New Albany Stockyards has been quiet for sometime, but after holding it’s first two Tack and Horse sale on Friday November 2, and Friday November 16, 2007 at 6:00 pm. The New Albany Stockyards will now hold it’s first Cattle Sale on Monday December 3, 2007 starting at 10:00 am . The monthly sale calendar will host Horse Sales on the first and third Friday and Cattle will sale every Monday at 10:00 am.
Zachary J. Vierheller who is the owner of Professional Auction Services LLC. and Phillip L. Pierceall who will serve as the Cattle Rep. for the New Albany Stockyards opened the doors to the New Albany Stockyards on November 2, 2007. Zach and Phillip are both second generation auctioneers and both grew up in the livestock and equine industry. Both men will be sharing the auction block and management duties, at this medium sized market.

According to, Mr. Vierheller New Albany Stockyards will offer buyers and sellers a better way to trade livestock and horses because detailed customer service to our clients, while reaching top dollar at a fair market price is our goal. Mr. Pierceall added our clients have worked hard to raise quality beef, and it will be up to Zach and I along with our staff to give them the best service possible, our clients work to hard not to have the best.
