FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 7, 2007 --
Chinatown Film Festival, Inc., a not for profit organization, is sponsoring, "ChinatownS", an exhibition at Storefront for Art and Architecture , New York. The exhibition is a visual overview of Asian urban enclaves in over 100 cities across four continents.
There are more than 145 Chinatowns around the world today. Many others have disappeared, and new ones are being born each year. Storefront for Art and Architecture and the Chinatown Film Festival New York take you on a global tour of Chinese urban enclaves around the world. Starting in New York City and moving east around the planet, the exhibition "ChinatownS" is a compendium of over 1,000 images taken by almost as many photographers. It is a visual tribute to the diversities and idiosyncrasies, as much as the similarities, that unite urban communities scattered all over the world.
The photographs will be displayed at an exhibition, entitled "ChinatownS", from December 11 - December 22, 2007 at Storefront for Art and Architecture , located at Kenmare and Lafayette Streets in Manhattan. Further information on www.chinatownfilmfestival.org and www.storefrontnews.org
