UK Radiology celebrates first year of success

UK radiology (www.uk-radiology.co.uk) is the website of the Hereford Radiology Group, a partnership of consultant radiologists in the NHS and private practice in the West Midlands and Wales.
Over the last year UK radiology has drastically cut the cost of private radiology and scans and attracted patients from throughout the UK and even from overseas. Patients have benefited from low prices and received the individual attention of UK registered and insured consultant radiologists and a top quality, no wait service.

UK radiology uses high quality NHS equipment when it would otherwise remain idle and shares income from private patients with the NHS X-ray department. Private patients therefore benefit from the low prices, top quality equipment and experienced radiologists possible from this low overhead, low risk business model.
NHS patients have benefited from extended opening hours and easier access to scans.
A new venture to celebrate a year of success is the launch of Aortascan - a low cost screening service for aortic aneurysms. The scans are carried out by the consultants themselves for only £50; an unmatchable level of service at this price in the UK.
