United States of America (Press Release) December 11, 2007 --
With visual and functional enhancements, the site supports learning more about the process of self-development and related topics. The wealth of interesting content includes a comprehensive archive as well as what students say about the school and the value it brings to their lives (go to the “About us” link). Information about classes offered by the school, such as Philosophy, Economics, Plato, Shakespeare, and Emerson is also found on the site.
You may subscribe to the various newsletters (Story of the Week and Quote of the Day), comment on the forums, check the calendar for next term, and learn from people committed to leading more harmonious and truthful lives.
The new term for the Philosophy Works course starts the week of January 14th, 2008, with classes conveniently offered 6 times a week: Monday through Friday evenings at 7:00pm and Saturday mornings at 10:00 am. Since you may vary your day of attendance from week to week, even those with a busy work schedule are able to take this valuable 10-week course.
You may register just one-half hour before the start of your first class or on the school’s website at www.philosophyworks.org
The School of Practical Philosophy is a not-for-profit organization committed to showing students how to apply the wisdom of the ages to modern life. No one in the school gets paid so that the teaching remains pure. The result is a school where students are genuinely cared for in a warm, inviting atmosphere.
