Rugged, low profile digital load/force sensors with USB Output based on patented capacitive Plug and Sense™ Technology

Loadstar Sensors, Inc. of Mountain View, CA announces the immediate availability of iLoad Pro Series digital load/force sensors. The iLoad PRO Series is available in capacities ranging from 10 Lbs to 25,000 lbs to measure compressive and tensile loads at accuracies up to 0.05% of full scale.
Continuing on the success of our award winning iLoad™ Series sensors, these iLoad Pro sensors offer, unprecedented ease of use with Digital USB or Analog 0-5V DC output without the need for additional signal conditioning. The iLoad Pro Series sensors are designed for use in heavy duty or industrial environments and have a rugged female threaded mounting structure for easy attachment and improved cable strain relief.
The iLoad and iLoad Pro series load sensors are based on our patented capacitive Plug and Sense™ technology. These sensors combine the core sensing functionality with integrated computing and communication modules to offer unprecedented simplicity and ease of use in a rugged, low profile package.
The iLoad PRO Digital USB sensors are designed to plug directly into the USB port of a PC and enable users to measure loads, forces or weights without need for any additional signal conditioning, data acquisition system or special software! The sensor appears as a virtual COM port on a PC enabling a user to directly read data using simple ASCII commands with any terminal emulator such as HyperTerminal. Users can also easily write their own Windows applications with the open command set that comes standard with all digital load sensors.
In order to make this process even simpler, Loadstar offers LoadVUE™ software that takes care of all communication functions and displays loads in lbs, Kgs or Newtons. A user can get calibrated load information without any additional computation, conversion or calibration! The software also allows users to log data and edit it using programs such as Microsoft Excel.
