United States of America (Press Release) December 12, 2007 --
Photographer Tammy Hileman, Of Orange County donated her time as well as the supplies to print out the photos and put them in a card. These many families will be spending Christmas with out a Dad, Mom, Husband, Wife, Son or Daughter, who are currently serving in the Army National Guard. It is my hope that these images can bring a smile on the loved ones face and warm their heart. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, I believe it will bring holiday joy to those loved ones so far away this year. On December 8,2007 in the National Guard Armory in Orange, CA. home of the 1/160th Delta Company, we held our annual Christmas Party for the families of the whole 1/160th Battalion. As a special treat we had Santa and Mrs. Clause rode in on a Harley Davidson, and then took a seat on the couch to take pictures wilt all the very excited children. After the pictures were taken Santa gave each child a wrapper Christmas gift. Being able to capture the happiness in the faces of those who are missing their loved ones this holiday season was a very moving experience. I am honored that I was able to take part in this, really no words to describe how good it felt to see the joy in those children’s faces.
