McNamara, Rhodes & Goodbody Join Visit Palm Beach Team

Palm Beach, FL (December 12, 2007) -- Visit Palm Beach, the premier provider of recreational excursions and events in south Florida, is pleased to welcome three new additions to their staff, Ms. Susan Q. McNamara, Mr. Dick Rhodes and Mr. Kevin Goodbody.
Ms. Susan Q. McNamara has been named Manager of Excursions and Event Services. With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Susan brings Visit Palm Beach expertise in event planning and logistic management. Her career began at the Four Seasons, Boston and prior to joining Visit Palm Beach; Susan was at The Breakers, Palm Beach. During her 14 year tenure, McNamara planned and directed the catering for off-property group events, activities and celebrations. McNamara holds a degree in Architecture from CUA in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Dick Rhodes recently joined Visit Palm Beach to over see the Sales and Marketing efforts in the leisure market. Dick joined Visit Palm Beach after seven years with Marriott Vacation Club Resorts as Director of Marketing for their Ocean Pointe Resort on Singer Island and BeachPlace Towers in Fort Lauderdale. Dick was responsible for the over all marketing promotions at both Marriott properties. In 2006, Marriott's Ocean Pointe achieved "Resort of the Year" status among the 53 vacationclub resorts within Marriott. Originally from Maryland, Dick has extensive experience in the sales, marketing and administrative operations of various businesses and organizations.
Mr. Kevin Goodbody has been named Director of Operations. He studied architecture in London and practiced in Spain, Holland and the UK; winning a number of design competitions. Kevin diversified into the textile industry, establishing a successful home furnishing design studio in France and the USA. He moved permanently to South Florida in 2006. Kevin will manage the company's daily operation and lead the graphic design of Visit Palm Beach's collateral and its new, soon to be launched website.
