Santa Comes Early to Skid Row Bringing 50,000 Toys to 12,000 Impoverished Children and Families
10,000 to 12,000 impoverished inner city children will receive over 50,000 new toys, new, warm clothes and Christmas dinner bags at Skid Row’s largest Christmas Toy Party at the Fred Jordan Mission

Thousands of underpriviledged boys and girls will squeal with delight and their eyes will light up with joy when they receive 50,000 brand new toys from Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and hundreds of volunteer elves. Sadly, for many of these children, this is the only new toy they will receive this Christmas.
Volunteer elves from The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, The Walt Disney Company, The Sikh Community of Los Angeles, The Teamsters, Deloitte, Galpin Motors, All Access Apparel, Barbara Walden, Leap Frog, Pasadena City College, and Woodcrest School, as well as other generous donors, playing with the children and distributing gifts to them.
A variety of Christmas entertainment, including a Christmas show starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse*, courtesy of The Walt Disney Company, Santa and Mrs. Claus, Jeff Freeman, Debbie McClendon-Smith, The Perry Sisters and Bill Cantos.
Hundreds of caring and kind-hearted volunteers distributing gifts to underprivileged children and families and helping bring the joy of Christmas to Skid Row.
