FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 17, 2007 --
mySBS Team, a company providing support services for small businesses, recently launched a website that includes company information and resources for small business owners.
In addition to an explanation of their services and descriptions of current and past clients, the website includes a forum where small business owners can get answers to their questions, and a blog with articles on various aspects of running a small business. A list of links directs business owners to useful websites, such as tax resources and forums for business networking.
“Our company mission is to provide our clients with everything they need to take their small businesses to the next level,” said Michael Beaver, owner of mySBS Team.
The “Small Business Support Team” provides a variety of services that allow small business owners to focus on their business, rather than wasting time on the nitty-gritty details. For instance, for new businesses mySBS Team provides start-up consulting and help developing workable business plans. The Raleigh-based company also offers accounting and tax services, QuickBooks training, and help with internal business systems such as processing bills and accounts receivables.
“We offer the same quality of work as a CPA firm,” said Beaver. “We can provide clients a one-stop shop experience because even if we don't have the expertise internally, one of our team members or affiliates does.”
mySBS Team also offers a free phone consultation, which includes an in-depth discussion of the client’s current setup, company history, and goals.
Unfortunately, many small business owners take a do-it-yourself approach when it comes to start-up, accounting, and internal business systems – often with disastrous results.
“For example, let’s say the owner of a construction management company bills himself out at $50.00 per hour,” said Beaver. “If he spends 10 hours a week working on the internal company management, that's $500 a week of lost revenue, and the work might not even be done correctly.”
If the work isn’t done correctly, the owner will lose even more trying to fix the problem or paying someone else to do so. In contrast, mySBS Team can do the same work in considerably less time, charging the business owner a fraction of the $500 or more he would have lost doing the work himself.
Many small business owners decide to do the work themselves because they can’t afford the high rates CPA firms, lawyers, and consulting services charge. Because mySBS Team doesn’t have the same overhead and high profit margins of these entities, they can pass the savings on to the client.
“We understand how much it hurts a small business to have to pay high rates,” said Beaver.
